Monday Meeting: Screening - Stand up show: "History of Oil"

People and Planet in collaboration with Guerilla Cinema will be screening
Robert Newman’s stand up show, ‘History of oil’ which has become a cult
hit worldwide. It has been described as a “must view” DVD if interested in
the history of oil, politics, history and oh yes humour.
The screening,food etc.. will be FREE all the People & Planet monday meeting!
The film will be powered by people (that could include you!) but there will be
yummy food and refreshments to keep energy levels high! Come along to explore
these issues,have a laugh and meet new friends!!!
And then to Doctors for a drink or two!

Loovely super ethical food for cheap prices! And all the money goes to a
different charity-project every week!

People and Planet Planning Meeting
This is where the fun beings! The best way to get really involved in all that
we do (and all that you want us to do). Campaign planning, plus whatever you
want to bring to the dancefloor!
Amongst others, this week we'll be discussing whether to change the meeting
time to 2-4pm. And how to spend some of the money we have in the bank account:
ideas range from doing environmental street theatre to investing in some
renewable energy project, come and share your ideas!

Edinburgh University Woodcraft Folk Society brings you a free and carbon
neutral film night powered by the Guerrilla Cinema bicycles.

Big Green Make-over Project Training
Fancy being involved in a hands-on sustainability project on campus?
As a volunteer adviser, you can help out with the Energy Advice Clinics and
workshops around campus, or pair up with another volunteer to visit a
student/staff home to give practical advice on how to save energy and live more
sustainably.

FUNDS TO: P&P national office, and First Nations people to help them with
taking Canada to court over the devastating effects of Tar-sands
Not to mention the epic Folksoc ceilidh band that will provide those ceilidh
beats!
